It’s finally September, and I’m so excited for summer to be officially over. I hate to admit it, but I am so not a big fan of summer, and this one was a really hot one all over the world. I grew up in a town that rarely reached 90°F/32°C in the summertime, so I really struggle acclimating to hot temperatures! I think more than half of August was totally out of my comfort zone. Wah wah wah, I know.
That said, I took it pretty easy this month, mostly staying indoors in from of the air conditioning. But I did my best to keep on my Hobonichi! This month I started to adopt simpler spreads, as I started to feel like my chaotic ones were a little bit too busy. There were even times I went back to old spreads to ‘lighten’ them up a little bit, cause I felt like they were too wild. Can you see the progression? I think it really started with the “sick day” towards the end of the month, and it was like my whole Hobonichi world changed as a result.

I also recently received an order from a shop I recommended in my last entry, Sweet Supplies Store. I never tried an unboxing video before, so I thought why not? It turned out to be the perfect first unboxing video I’ve ever done, as everything was packed so nicely with lots of cute washi tape all over the baggies. I highly recommend the shop, and am looking forward to making my next order!
That’s all for now, next time I’ll be sharing a tutorial on how to DIY your own journal stickers. It was a project I did last weekend at 1am when randomly struck with a stroke of genius on how to use the rest of my sticker papers. See you then!
